Photoshop Tutorial

In this tutorial, you will learn to create 3d text in easy way. Final output of this 3d text tutorial can be seen below :-

Type "E" with Arial Black font, having 120 point size and #59CF02 color. Press control+t to transform the type layer and rotate it 15 degree.

Duplicate this layer and place it behind the first type layer as shown. Note that, I have changed the color of this text just to show where to place the second type layer.

Apply gradient overlay as shown :-

Create a new layer by pressing shift+ctrl+n together. Use polygonal lasso tool and make a selection as shown.

Fill the selection by linear gradient (from top to bottom ) selecting #59CF02 as foreground and white as background color.

Duplicate the layer for two more times. Place these layers as shown :-

Create another layer and draw a selection :-

Also fill this layer with similar gradient. Duplicate and place the layer as shown :-

Finally, draw a selection after creating a new layer as shown.

Fill the selection with similar gradient, but from left to right. Our 3d text is ready. Isn't it is easy?
