Photoshop Tutorial

In this tutorial, you will learn to design a promotional ad for a product. I have used various images of my favorate actress one and only Aishwarya Rai, but you can use your own pictures for it ;)

Final output of this tutorial can be seen below :-

Create a blank file of 400 x 400 pixel wide. Fill the background color with #C80000.

Now, place your favorate picture as shown :-

Select this brush :-

Erase the corners of the picture as shown by the arrow. You can press shift key while erasing the corners.

Using the similar technique (placing the image and erasing the corners) place and rotate more pictures.

Now draw a shape with rectangle tool. Use #FEA800 as foreground color while drawing the shape.

Now, group and merge all the layers. Leave the background layer as it is. Now, apply drop shadow in the top layer as shown :-

Use polygonal lasso tool to draw a selection as shown :-

Press delete and deselect the selection by pressing control+d :-

Now, use this brush :-

Randomly erase the corners of this layer as shown :-

Now, draw the path with pen tool as shown :-

Adjust the nodes to have a shape like shown :-

Press control+enter to create a selection of the path. Create a new layer by pressing shift+ctrl+n together. Create this gradient :-

Fill the selection with linear gradient as shown :-

Erase the corners with 9 pixel brush as shown. If you like, you can add drop shadow in this layer too :-

Now, add custom text to complete the designing :-
