3D Callout IconPhotoshop TutorialIn this tutorial, you will learn to create a nice looking callout icon. Final outcome of the tutorial can be seen below :- ![]() Fill the background with black color. Draw this white colored shape with the help of ellipse tool :- ![]() Press "+" from the numeric keypad. Select pen tool and draw the shape as shown :- ![]() ![]() Now, apply gradient overlay as shown :- ![]() ![]() Create another shape with ellipse tool as shown :- ![]() Apply similar gradient overlay as we applied in our first shape but change the angle from -90 degree ( as in previous shape ) to +90 degree. ![]() ![]() Duplicate the first layer and rasterize it. Send it to back (by pressing shift+control+{ ) and place it as shown :- ![]() Create a new layer. Draw a selection like shown in the figure with polygonal lasso tool :- ![]() Fill the selection with #0588BC color. ![]() Now, control+click on the third layer's name in layer pallate to select it (the layer which we duplicated, and sent it to back ) ![]() Create a new layer. Use high featherd brush. Select #013C54 as fill color and fill the color below the first shape so that we can have a shadow like effect. ![]() ![]() Now, group and merge all the layers. Duplicate the layer once again and send it to back. Also move the new layer 12-15 pixel downward by pressing down arrow key for 12-15 times. ![]() Finally, change the opacity of this layer around 50%. Our 3d callout icon is ready :) ![]() |
